How We Started

One boat. One belief.
Everything changed.

Harborlight was founded by Captain Lena Marsh, a marine biologist turned boat captain who spent eight years guiding research vessels around the Florida Keys before deciding that the ocean should be something everyone could experience.

She started with a single borrowed pontoon, a hand-painted sign at the marina and one rule that still governs every rental today: nobody leaves our dock without feeling genuinely excited about what they are about to do.

Today, Harborlight operates 20+ vessels, employs 14 people and hosts over 3,000 guests every year. The sign is still hand-painted.
